The ESPCC is the brainchild of David Robinson, who has worked in the motor industry for over 30 years and has a lifelong passion for supercars. Having visited all of the major car events around the country, he noticed that there was very little, if any, opportunity for car owners and dealerships to showcase super and luxury cars in the North West.
His idea was to create an exclusive environment for a motor show; a glamorous, relaxing social occasion where premium automotive and luxury brands could entertain their guests in style and meet new customers.
The show was first launched at a small local Lakeland venue in 2012 with forty cars and soon exceeded all expectations, and has since gone from strength to strength, becoming a country-renowned automotive event which is now hosted on the Westmorland County Showground at Crooklands near Kendal Cumbria.
After 4 years, the show moved from several smaller venues, and in 2016 made the move to Cumbria’s largest show ground. Moving to the show ground allowed ESPCC to continue its evolution as it brings together its extraordinary collection of classic, super, hyper and some of the finest cars ever made. Seamlessly combining them with unrivalled hospitality, the Cumbria International Motor Show has grown to become a truly unique and unforgettable event.
