THE sixth Cumbria International Motor Show will return this spring, promising to be the biggest event to date.
The Elite Sports and Performance Car Club’s annual event arrives on Sunday May 14, taking place at Westmorland Show Ground, just off Junction 36 of the M6.
There will be millions of pounds worth of motors on show, with sports car dealerships such as Porsche and Tesla bringing their finest models, and new for 2017 will be the Dream Car Garage – a paddock of 30 supercars, featuring the likes of Lamborghini, Ferrari, Aston Martin and many more.
In addition to cars, other things to see and do at the show will include family fun with a bouncy castle and crossbar challenge, music from South Lakes folk duo Paper Cranes, singer-songwriter Megan Doherty, and up-and-coming Kendal musician Michael Elliott. There will also be a talk on Donald Campbell’s Bluebird K7 by Dr Keith Mitchell.
Advance tickets are on sale now, and organisers are offering everyone attending the chance to win a supercar driving experience.
Anyone purchasing a ticket will be entered into a prize draw for a trip to the legendary Donington Park race circuit in Derbyshire – home of the largest collection of Grand Prix cars in the world.
The prize is being provided by AutoXotica Supercars at Donington, who will also be bringing some of their luxury models up to the show.
